Detailed description of our project goals and methodology

Mai Aisha Trust, in partnership with Drop of Compassion, successfully constructed and opened Mtindiwale Community Day Secondary School (CDSS) to improve access to quality secondary education within the Mtindiwale community. The school has been officially handed over to the Government of Malawi to ensure long-term sustainability and integration into the national education system.

Challenges We Addressed

The problems our community faced before intervention

• Limited access to secondary education.
• Students were required to travel long distances to attend secondary schools, leading to high dropout rates, increased absenteeism.

• Constructed a fully functional Community Day Secondary School within the community
