Detailed description of our project goals and methodology

In December 2019, a borehole was drilled in Mikundi Village, Traditional Authority Bwananyambi, Mangochi district. The project was funded by Brother Ashraf Patel from the UK through Drop of Compassion (DoC). This new water source provides clean and safe drinking water for over 250 families, transforming the health and daily lives of the community.

Challenges We Addressed

The problems our community faced before intervention

  • The community used unsafe water for drinking and washing from unprotected sources.
  • Women were required to travel long distances to find safe water.
  • The risk of waterborne diseases was extremely high.
