In 2019, a borehole was drilled in Chagunda village, Traditional Authority Kawinga, Machinga, with financial support from Drop of Compassion (DoC). This vital project now provides clean and safe water to over 3,000 beneficiaries, significantly improving public health and daily life for the community.

Challenges We Addressed

The problems our community faced before intervention

  • The community and local students used unsafe water for drinking and washing.
  • Women and children had to travel long distances to find safe water.
  • There was a high risk of contracting waterborne diseases.
