Detailed description of our project goals and methodology
The Bangwe Outpatient Department (OPD) Clinic, located approximately 2 kilometers from Limbe along Robert Mugabe Road, is a key healthcare provider serving over 2,000 patients monthly. Owned by Mai Aisha Trust with financial support from Drop of Compassion (DoC), the clinic is operated by Madinah Social Services, a local NGO committed to ensuring accessible healthcare for underprivileged Malawians. To cater to the needy, the cost of medication is heavily subsidized. The clinic is staffed by two full-time clinicians, two nurses, one laboratory technician, and additional support staff. It offers a comprehensive range of services, including ART, HTC, malaria and TB diagnostics, under-five care, and various laboratory tests.
