Detailed description of our project goals and methodology
In 2018, Mai Aisha Trust constructed the Nakawale Irrigation Scheme in Mangochi with funding from Peace and Relief International Trust, a UK-based charity. The scheme covers an area of approximately six hectares and benefits 33 farmers directly, comprising 13 males and 20 females. The project also supports over 350 indirect beneficiaries within the community.
