MAT Hosts Iftar Program at Namakango Village in Mangochi

On April 6, 2024, Mai Aisha Trust hosted a community Iftar program at Namakango village in Mangochi district during the holy month of Ramadhan. Over 1,000 individuals benefited from this program, receiving freshly prepared meals to break their fast together.

Program Objective

The Iftar program was designed to:

  • Provide nutritious meals to community members observing Ramadhan
  • Foster a sense of community and togetherness during the holy month
  • Support families who might otherwise struggle to prepare adequate Iftar meals
  • Create an atmosphere of spiritual reflection and gratitude

Community Impact

The gathering brought together community members from diverse backgrounds, creating a spirit of unity and shared purpose. Participants expressed appreciation for the opportunity to break their fast together in a communal setting, strengthening social bonds within the village.
